By accessing or using Refocused services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Refocused provides AI-powered video upscaling and enhancement tools. Our services include a desktop application that processes video entirely locally on your own machine. The application communicates with our servers only to activate and validate your license and to download AI model files and software updates. Our services are subject to change and may be modified at our discretion.

Subject to these terms and payment of the applicable license fee, Refocused grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Refocused desktop application and the AI models made available to you. Each license may be active on a limited number of devices at a time, as specified by your plan; you may deactivate a device at any time to activate another.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the software or its AI models; share, publish, or resell your license key or API credentials; or circumvent license enforcement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Desktop licenses are a one-time purchase that includes one year of software and model updates. There are no recurring charges; after the first year you may continue using the software and models you own, or renew your license to receive continued updates. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your payment card details.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on desktop licenses. If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@refocused.ai within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

You retain all rights to your videos and any other content you process with our software. All video processing happens locally on your device — your videos are never uploaded to our servers, and we do not receive, store, or claim any license to your content or to the output our software generates from it.

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our services or systems.

You must only process videos that you have the legal right to possess and modify.

Refocused and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the services, including all related intellectual property rights. The AI models, software, and technology powering our services are proprietary and protected by applicable laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, or deactivate your licenses, for material violation of these Terms of Service — including license-key sharing, circumventing license enforcement, or unlawful use of our services. Where practicable, we will provide notice before taking such action. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund outside the guarantee period described above.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refocused shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms of Service on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
